Nancy Teague Accepted In Richard Schmid Art Auction

LIVE AUCTION Morning Door Geranium

Well, I am excited! I had two paintings selected to be part of the 17th Annual Richard Schmid Fine Art Auction on September 2nd, 2012. This event will involve a Live Auction and a Silent Auction of 120 original paintings that were juried from over 600 pieces.

The Richard Schmid Art  Auction began in 1996 as a local affair and has grown into a major art event in the art world. Since its beginnings, there have been over 1,300 pieces of fine original art auctioned for a total of more than $1.8 million. In spite of the recent destructive Colorado forest fires the meadow for the auction's 'Big Top' was untouched. The show will go on!

Here are links to the participating artists and information about bidding on artwork. Proceeds from the event will go to the Rist Canyon Volunteer Fire Department and the artists.

For better viewing and more information of my accepted pieces go to the Nancy Teague Studio web site.

Michael, thanks for your kind comments and joining in my excitement. Can't you just imagine the view at this art auction? I bet you'd find some awesome subject matter for your 'sensitive' landscapes that you paint.
